PURPOSE: To exactly detect a pressure deviation between respective wheels and to improve an evaluation effect by defining a wheel rotational speed difference for each axle as a sure scale in the radial direction of one wheel by considering all influential variables in danger of different rotational wheel speeds. CONSTITUTION: In wheel units 11 (vl-hr) of a four-wheel two-axle motor vehicle, respective rotational wheel speed sensors 1 (vl-hr) and respective spring displacement quantity sensors 2 (vl-hr) are respectively added to these units. Then, respective units 1002 (v, h) find a rotational wheel speed difference for the unit of axle and this short-term fluctuation is removed by a low-pass filter 1003 (v, h). On the other hand, after a non-linearity caused by various loads is corrected by a block 1001 (v, h), this correction coefficient is superimposed on the rotational wheel speed difference by a unit 1004 (v, h). Besides, a yawing angle or the like is corrected by a block 1012 (v, h). Further, the rotational speed difference of axles is compared by a unit 1011 and this compared result is outputted to a display system 1015.
