<p>PURPOSE:To provide a fluid wheel designed such that when the fluid wheel rotates, the blades toward upstream become parallel to the flow to be unresistant to the flow in any direction, and the opposite side blades toward downstream become resistant to the flow to obtain torque. CONSTITUTION:Blades 1, 2, 3, 4 can be easily rotated about the support of a rotary frame 5. The blades 1 and 2, and 3 and 4 are respectively interlocked with each other by a connecting rod 10. The blades 2 and 3 are connected to each other by transmission plates 11, 12, and when the blade on one side is parallel to the rotary frame 5, the blade on the opposite side is incorporated to be at right angles to the rotary frame 5. Further, the rotation of the respective blades is set to be stopped at the positions on the upper and lower beams of the rotary frame by stoppers 13 provided on the upper and lower projections of the blade ends.</p> |
