According to the invention the premises are heated by conventional heating methods up to a temperature which is below comfortable temperature. When a human being stays in the premises, additional heat is supplied by radiation from a heat radiation transmitting device. This device can be heated, e.g. electrically or by gas. Associated with the device is a sensor, which controls the function of the device in respect of human presence in the premises. |
