A construction element is designed as a slab-shaped, preferably structural supporting, large-format and in particular light-weight construction element, mostly used for building or covering rooms in a building, or for producing hollow bodies or slab-shaped or frame-shaped pieces of furniture, as well as for covering surfaces in overground and civil engineering works. A supporting frame (2) embedded in a body (3) made of building material consists of several interconnected strips (4) profiled in their longitudinal direction by bends around bending lines which extend perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction. The longitudinal edges (5) of the profiled strips (4) are mutually offset in the direction of their width in such a way that the longitudinal edges (5) of adjacent profiled strips (4) cross each other. |
