AMORPHOUS SOLAR CELL AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PURPOSE:To enhance the characteristic of a solar cell under low illuminance by preventing a leakage current generated due to a pinhole produced in a photoelectric conversion layer for the solar cell. CONSTITUTION:The solar cell is provided with a first electrode formed on an insulating substrate, with a photoelectric conversion layer 23 formed on the first electrode, with an insulating layer 24 formed on the photoelectric conversion layer 23 and with a second electrode formed on the insulating layer 24. A plurality of holes are made in the insulating layer 24, and the second electrode is connected electrically to the photoelectric conversion layer 23 in the hole parts.
