PURPOSE: To achieve downsizing and light weight of a high-tension device for a car for an electric traction railway and to make it possible to install the device inside the traction car, by arranging it inside an enclosed container filled with an inductive gas. CONSTITUTION: A single-phase breaker 2, a single-phase/DC converting switch 3, a voltage-sensing transformer 4, current transformers 5, 6, and a high-tension cable isolator 8 are arranged inside a container 1, which is then filled with sulfur hexafluoride and enclosed. Here, high-tension terminals 11, 12 secure electrical connection to a ground disconnecting switch 9, and the high-tension terminal 12 further secures connection to a pantograph 10. Also, a high-tension terminal 13 secures electrical connection to the main transformer of a traction car, while a high tension terminal 14 does the electrical connection to the high- tension cable. A high-tension terminal 15 secures electrical connection between a switch 3 and a rectifier circuit which feeds a peripheral device, and a high- tension terminal 16 does the electrical connection between the switch 3 and a DC disconnecting switch. Furthermore, a high-tension terminal 17 secures electrical connection between a transformer 4 and a DC voltage-sensing potential divider. This structure can reduce weight and streamline the car. |
