PURPOSE: To provide a connector for a pen scanner by which pen scanner assembling work is easily carried out and a printed board and a wire cord are reliably connected to each other. CONSTITUTION: This connector 20 is composed of a housing 21 into which a base part of a printed board is inserted and a contact which is installed in the housing 21 while being connected to a wire cord 13 and is brought into contact with a circuit pattern of the printed board 12. In the housing 21, a fitting part 21c which engages and holds the printed board 12 being fitted into a fitting part 12c of the printed board 12 when the printed board 12 is inserted in the prescribed direction and an insertion inhibiting part to inhibit the insertion through contact with the printed board 12 when the printed board 12 is inserted in the directions other than the prescribed direction are provided. When the housing 21 which receives the printed board 12 is pressure-inserted into a case 11, the fitting part 21c of the housing 21 is pushed down by the case 11 and both of the fitting parts are locked in the fitting state. |
