SYSTEM FOR TRANSMITTING DIGITAL DATA OF OVERSCANNING PART OF VIDEO SIGNAL AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE:To provide a system and method transmitting data by the OS part of a composite video signal by allowing a cycle processor to receive the composite video signal, to generate a control signal and outputting a signal to be transmitted by the overscanning(OS) part via an encoder. CONSTITUTION:Digital data is inputted in a channel coder 12, a redundant bit is added, other corrections are performed and resistance is imparted to channel damage. The output is inputted in a digital modulator 14, and first and second carrier wave signals are modulated. The output is inputted in an FIFO buffer 16. On the other hand, a synchronizing processor 18 receives a composite video signal and outputs a control signal C1. When the signal C1 is an H, a switch 20 is located at a B1 location, data to be transmitted at the overscanning part of the FIFO 16 is outputted, and when the signal C1 is an L, the switch 20 is located at an A1 location and the composite video signal to be transmitted at a non-overscanning part is outputted.
