<p>PURPOSE:To use different kinds of cassettes in a video tape recorder and to impart a function for preventing such a cassette from being inserted into a wrong direction by preventing the cassette from being inserted into the video tape recorder when the cassette is inserted into the wrong direction because an engagement projecting part advanced in an advancing position is abutted against the cassette. CONSTITUTION:A misinsertion preventing member 10 for preventing the cassette from being inserted in the wrong direction is provided on a placing table 2 of a slider of the video tape recorder, and this misinsertion preventing member 10 has the engagement projecting parts 15a and 15b capable of engaging with a guide groove of the cassette. These engagement projecting parts 15a and 15b are provided to be freely movable into the advancing position for engaging with the guide groove and the retreating position for releasing the engagement with the guide groove, and also, for instance, when the engagement projecting part 15a is advanced into the advancing position, the engagement projecting part 15b is retreated into the retreating position.</p> |
