PURPOSE:To inhibit the generation of a quench of superconductors as well as to ensure a large amount of current flowing through a superconducting coil. CONSTITUTION:A superconducting coil 10 is constituted by winding wire 12, which contain a superconductor 13 and copper 14, in such a way that it is wrapped on itself. Thereby, a current, which flows through the interiors of the coppers 14 at the time of a quench of the superconductors 1, is dispersed in the peripheries of the coppers and flows and at the same time, heat in the coppers 14 is dispersed in the peripheries of the coppers. |
