PURPOSE:To provide the file transfer condition confirming device for another device or another process to easily confirm the state of a transferred file. CONSTITUTION:When receiving the file, a file transfer means 21 transfers the transmitted file to the relevant file of a disk 25 and writes the transfer condition in the corresponding sub file of the disk 25 and when an instruction for reading the transfer condition of that file is inputted from the other device or the other process, a transfer condition reading means 28 reports the transfer condition written in that sub file to the other device or the other process.
