PURPOSE:To provide a portable radio communication equipment which can reduce the size and the weight of the main body of a portable radio equipment and also can acquire a satisfactory demodulation signal. CONSTITUTION:When a portable radio equipment main body 10 is connected to an on-vehicle adaptor 20, a demodulation signal S2 and a signal RSSI2 showing the receiving field intensity which are produced by a receiver antenna 22 and a receiving part 23 of the adaptor 20 are transmitted to a digital processing part 5 of the main body 10. Meanwhile a demodulation signal S1 produced by a receiving part 4 of the main body 10 and the signal RSSI2 are transmitted to the part 5 via a transmitter/receiver antenna 21 of the adaptor 20. The part 5 performs the diversity processing to selects and switch the signals S1 and S2 based on the signals RSSI1 and RSSI2 showing the input field intensity. Thus the satisfactory demodulation signals can be acquired. |
