Device intended to keep animals away from crops, of the type comprising a chassis (1, 2) intended to be anchored in the ground, the said chassis supporting two boxes (14, 18), the box (14) accommodating a battery (30) connected to a solar panel (27) in order to keep the battery charged, while the box (18) accommodates two clocks (31, 41) inserted onto control circuits of a series of loudspeakers (21) and a flash lamp (12) and supplied by the battery in order to programme the start of operation of the loudspeakers (21) and of the flash lamp (12) and the duration of sound emission and flash emission, characterised in that three potentiometers are interposed on the supply circuit of the loudspeakers, of which potentiometers the first makes it possible to adjust the duration of sound emission, the second makes it possible to adjust the time interval between each sound emission and the third makes it possible to adjust the volume of the loudspeakers. <IMAGE>
