PURPOSE:To enhance convenience in the remote control operation by increasing the maximum receivable incident angle of an optical signal transmitted from a remote control transmitter through simple structure. CONSTITUTION:A reflection ring 9 interposed between an infrared transmission plate 6 and a light receiving element 8 disposed in an escutcheon 1 reflects optical signals Lc, Ld, not arriving directly at the light receiving face of the light receiving element 8, on the inner face thereof applied with chromium plating. The reflected light impinges on the light receiving face of the light receiving element 8 thus increasing the maximum receivable incident angle of an optical signal transmitted from a remote control transmitter. |
