PURPOSE:To reduce the connecting loss of an optical coupling part in a 1Xn optical switch using a piezoelectric element in the moving mechanism of a master-side optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:The collar edge 29 of a flexible cover 26 is closely adhered to the periphery of a recessed part 33 formed on the front surface of a cover plate 32. A support head 5 provided on an X-Y axial coarse adjustment stage 6 is inserted to a cylindrical guide 28 in the center part of the flexible cover 26. A fine adjustment tube 25 consisting of a tube type piezoelectric element is provided on the top end of the support head 5, and a master-side optical fiber 24 is supported through the fine adjustment tube 25. An n-side optical connector 3 is installed to an opening part 36 formed on the cover plate 32. In the n-side optical connector 2, n-side optical fibers 4 are closely inserted to a number of holes formed on a base, and the opening part 36 is closed by the n-side optical connector 3 and a support base 37. A close space is formed by the flexible cover 26 and the cover plate 32, and a cylinder oil 27 is charged in this space. |
