This invention relates to the preparing of high purity omeprazol intermediate in the mild condition without sulfuric acid. The manufacturing method comprises : A) making compd. of formul (III) by reacting compd of (II) with brome in the mix. solution of organic solvent and alkaline aq. solution; and B) substituting (III) with methoxy anion and making the oblect omeprazol intermediate of (I).
