PURPOSE:To attain automatic issue corresponding to a section to be used by judging whether the using section of a commutation ticket is included within a prescribed section or not and issuing a commutation ticket with different formats corresponding to a manned ticket examination and automatic ticket examination having respectively different printing areas for character information in accordance with the judged result. CONSTITUTION:This ticket issuing device is constituted of a main control part 20, a character pattern memory 21 for storing character patterns corresponding to buttons on an operation part 10, a printing data memory 22 for storing the printing data of a commutation ticket, and a commutation ticket processing part 23 for printing out ticket face data for automatic ticket examination or manned ticket examination and issuing the printed ticket. The main control part 20 judges which is to be issued, ticket of an automatic ticket examination format or a ticket of a manned ticket examination format, in accordance with the departure station of a ticket to be issued and the automatic ticket examination state information of an internal memory 20a. For instance, a company line to be used based upon the departure station is compared with information indicating a company line whose automatic ticket examination state information is automated to judge the company line. |
