<p>PURPOSE:To provide a binding band, which has the excellent corrosion resis tance, weather resistance and gap corrosion resistance and maintains the required strength for a long period. CONSTITUTION:In this binding band, stainless steel containing 13wt.% Cr is used as a base material. A plated layer of Zn or Zn alloy having the amount of 5-200g/m<2> is formed on the surface of the base material. The Zn plated layer or Zn-allay plated layer can be covered with a chromate film. Thus, the corrosion of the binding band is suppressed for long period by the prevention of corrosion by the sacrificial a node action and the action of the generated corrosion product as corrosion suppressing agent.</p> |
