An improved brake cable assembly fixing comprises a two-part brake cable assembly with a first cable section (1), which can be laid internally in the brake, and a second bowden cable (5), which can be laid externally outside the brake. The internally and externally layable section of the brake cable assembly can be anchored to one another on their facing ends by means of an anchoring section (21), which is connectable to a securing element (25) formed on the other section. According to the invention, the cable section laid internally in the brake is laid outwards beyond the actual introduction opening situated in the area of the brake anchor plate.
