The invention relates to a locker lock which has both a tumbler lock and an electromagnetic interlock which can be activated by remote release or by means of a coding unit. In order to reduce the risk that such lockers or safe-deposit boxes will be robbed, the object is to design locks of this type as time locks or retrofit them with a time-delay unit. To achieve this object, an electronic time stage is accommodated in the lock case and is activated by a power-supply unit to be attached by the user only if required. After the set delay time has elapsed, this unit indicates readiness for opening optically and/or acoustically. <IMAGE>
