Air refuelling system for diesel-driven submarines for use in the navy or in marine research
摘要
Diesel-driven submarines are supplied with fuel at sea by tenders. The problem underlying the invention specified in the patent claim is that the tenders can be kept under surveillance by the enemy submarine hunters. The submarine can be located and then attacked by them when taking on the fuel. The air refuelling system also enables the submarine to be refuelled at sea by air. Camouflage is thereby improved and the vulnerability to the enemy submarine hunters is reduced. In diesel-driven research submarines the fuel transfer can be simplified by the air refuelling. The submarine is given an air refuelling connection on the deck. Large marine refuelling helicopters or Canadian marine tilt-wing refuelling aircraft (VTOL) are suitable for the air refuelling. The air refuelling system is intended for use on diesel-driven submarines in the navy or in marine research.
