Bicycle lighting system

A lighting system, in particular for bicycles, is proposed which operates according to the wind-driven generator principle. The lighting system (1) is mounted at the front of the bicycle above the front wheel. A system comprising a dynamo (2), a propeller (3), a circuit (6), an accumulator (4) and lights (5) is made compatible and permits a rear light to be illuminated even when the bicycle is stationary. The circuit (6) includes voltage monitoring and overload protection. <IMAGE>
