Carrier for shaped ceramic parts during firing

Carriers for accommodating and supporting shaped ceramic parts during the firing and, if desired, drying process should be constructed in such a way that, for an acceptable production cost, a long lifetime and also, in the interests of lowering the energy consumption, a low thermal capacity are provided. In addition thereto it is proposed that the carrier is made of metal sheets of a nickel-chromium-iron alloy containing from 20 to 35 % of Cr, from 1 to 20 % of Fe and from 40 to 75 % of Ni, as well as, if desired, further alloying elements.
