Motorised sledges in use have the disadvantage that the person to be conveyed is situated on this sledge. As a result, the sledges are of compact construction and limits are therefore set on their off-road mobility. The novel, universal sledge is independent of the person to be conveyed since this person propels himself on skis and is pushed by the sledge. This system is very mobile off-road and can be used as equipment for sports, rescue or for transportation in difficult, snow-covered terrain. By removing the snow chains and the corresponding wheels and by fitting two floating shoes and a propeller this sledge can be used in the summer by a water skier.
