A process and an apparatus for feeding a compression mould (210) with extruded plastic is described, in particular using recycled plastics size-reduced into a pourable form, which plastics are fed in a predetermined mixing ratio, if appropriate with a thermoplastic mixed in, as binder to an extruder (80), are intimately mixed under heating, and if appropriate, degassing, extruded through the outlet of a heated extrusion die (100) and fed in metered extrudate portions (b) by using a heated transporting apparatus (140) to a compression mould (210), the intention being to improve the feeding of the compression mould and at the same time reduce the necessary pressing forces during the compressing operation and reduce the internal stresses in the finished compressed plastic part by the strand of extrudate (a) leaving the extrusion die (100) being deposited in a meandering manner adjacently and/or superjacently on a support (120) which is temperature-controlled and can be moved in a controlled oscillating motion, to be precise on a base surface area which corresponds approximately to the feeding surface area of the plastic part to be moulded in the compression mould (210) or a subarea thereof and its desired moulding compound distribution and, upon reaching a predetermined extrudate portion size, is cut off, if appropriate a plurality of extrudate portions (b) being deposited on the support (120) and fed to the transporting apparatus (140). <IMAGE> |
