A method of reversing or preventing immunosuppression or antigenic interference associated with combination vaccines in mammals, is disclosed. Cytokines, or cytokine inhibitors, are administered in conjunction with the combination vaccine. The cytokine or cytokine inhibitor can be administered concurrently with or subsequently to the vaccine, and can be recombinantly produced or isolated from cell culture.
