A 2-(1-nonen-3,5,7-triynyl)3-hydroxy tetrahydropyran (cunaniol) particularly that having the formula:- <CHEM> or a corresponding anhydrocunaniol or cunanione, for use in therapy, especially as a reversible heart blocking agent or neuromuscular active or in neurofunction generally; or for use as a pesticide or mycobactericide. Derivatives are also referred to as are various methods, e.g. of treatment, using the cunaniol, anhydrocunaniol, cunanione or derivatives. |
