摘要 PURPOSE:To reliably prevent leakage of fluid by a method wherein an annular body formed in a way that the cut surfaces of high density parts are caused to but against each other is compressed in the direction of width through limitation of expansion in a radial direction by an annular pressurizing means. CONSTITUTION:An annular body 9 formed in a way that cut surfaces 6a and 6b of high density parts 6A and 6B of a laminate 3 are caused to butt against each other is compressed in the direction of width through limitation of expansion in a radial direction by means of an annular pressurizing means 8. In this case, the compression force is not exerted on a high density part compressed in the direction of width and contracted by a local part pressurizing means 5 but first exerted on a low density part 6C where size in the direction of width is high, and compression is carried out starting therefrom. An uneven slip in a peripheral direction is produced between the respective layers of tapeform packing materials 2 of a plurality of the packing materials which are laminated and of which the low density part 6C is formed. A flat cut surface is deformed into an uneven surface which is irregularly protruded and recessed in the peripheral direction. The uneven surfaces are caused to butt against each other in a manner to be interfered with each other, and the layers are joined together in an irregular zigzag state.
