PURPOSE:To stabilize a color tone of a printed matter by giving a balance between an ink quantity and a water one in the width direction of an ink application roller in an offset press. CONSTITUTION:It is inevitable to execute a smooth water transfer to fluctuation rollers 1, 2 edge portions in order to ensure the same water content at the ink application roller 6 edge portion as that at the center portion of the roller and prevent a base contamination. In order that a water transfer to the fluctuation rollers 1, 2 from transfer rollers 8, 9, 10, is sufficiently executed, such a rollers group is formed that the transfer rollers 8, 9, 10 are extended in length more than usual ones till their length becomes same as the length of the fluctuation roller 1. |
