<p>The line strap assembly has an electrically-conductive support plate at one end which receives a line terminal connector. An electrically-insulative plate has an aperture formed within one end and arranged on a top surface of the support plate. An arc runner has an off-set formed at one end and an upturned tab formed at an opposite end the offset being arranged within the aperture and tab being arranged over the insulative plate. A U-shaped brace is attached to a bottom surface of the support plate, providing additional support to the support plate. A first aperture is formed within the offset, a second aperture being formed within the support plate coextensive with the first aperture and a third aperture formed within the brace coextensive with the first and second apertures. A fastener extending through the first, second and third apertures secures the arc runner to the support plate and the attached part so that the insulative plate is trapped between the arc runner and support plate.</p> |
