PURPOSE: To form a seamless cylinder shell by cladding a nickel sheet to a steel sheet so that the nickel sheet and steel sheet are uniformly bonded. CONSTITUTION: A seamless cylinder shell 10 comprises; (a) a process of cladding having an outside surface 12 formed of a layer 14 of 4130 Cr heater Mo steel and an inside surface 16 formed of a nickel layer 18; (b) a process to physically and chemically normalize opposing surfaces so as to remove oily material, soiled matters, scale, oxide, and stains off the compound sheets; (c) a process to make lubricant coating on the opposing surfaces of the compound sheets; (d) a process to make the compound sheet by cold drawing into a seamless cylinder shell 10. Thereby, a cylinder shell is formed to complete a seamless gas cylinder shell for storing a gas of ultra high purity at high pressure.
