PURPOSE:To restrain transitional rolling, and secure comfortableness to ride in without causing delay in control or a difference in the control timing by restraining reliably extending and contracting speed and a stroke on the stroke side of respective shock absorbers corresponding to the actual rolling direction. CONSTITUTION:A shock absorber (b) having a damping coefficient changing means (a) is arranged between a vehicle body and a wheel. By the way, vehicle behavior, a steering changing condition and a rolling condition are detected respectively by respective detecting means (c, d and e). When a detected value of the steering changing condition is less than a prescribed value, the damping coefficient changing means (a) is controlled by a control part (f) of a control means (g) according to a detected value of the vehicle behavior so as to control the shock absorber (b) optimally. In this case, a rolling control part (h) of the control means (g) controlls it so that the pressure side of the shock absorber (b) on the rolling directional side and the extension side of the shock absorber (b) on the anti-rolling directional side have respectively a high damping coefficient until at least prescribed time passes. |
