PURPOSE:To adjust the character display and output format in accordance with a change of a font. CONSTITUTION:This processor is provided with a first storage means 3 for storing inputted characters; a first table 4 for storing fonts and characters corresponding to the fonts; a second table 5 for storing a value determined by making the font of a first character correspond to the font of a second character next to the first character; and a font judging means 6 for judging the font of a character by referring to the first table. Furthermore, the processor is provided with a second storage means 7 for storing the result of judging the font of the first character stored in the first storage means by the font judging means and a character gap determining means 6 for determining the character space between the first character and the second character based on the result of judging the font of the second character stored in the first storage means by the font judging means and the judged result stored means in the second storage means. |
