PURPOSE:To cope with alterations of color tone to be used and density by rewriting a table content in which conversion data for reproducing the color tone in response to the color tone of a placed head or switching start and stop positions in response to number of heads and a range. CONSTITUTION:In order to send printing image data to a control board 102 and to reproduce excellent selected color of a designer, a host computer H sends color pallet data, etc., for deciding a mixture ratio of Y, M, C or special color. Then, when information of image data is received from the computer H, the image data is stored in an image memory. Thereafter, a pallet conversion controller 508 supplies pallet data input from the computer H and conversion table of corresponding color to a conversion table memory 509. An HS conversion controller 510 and an HS conversion table memory 511 correct unevenness of printing densities corresponding to outlets of heads based on data measured by head characteristic measuring unit 108. |
