PURPOSE:To provide a thermal transfer ink ribbon for applying a character or figure sharply fixed and transferred even to the surface of plastic, glass or metal to a dry transfer base sheet wherein a silicone resin is applied to a base material such as a plastic film or paper. CONSTITUTION:A thermal transfer ink ribbon is constituted of the release layer 4 composed of wax provided on the surface of a plastic film 5 whose rear surface is subjected to heat-resistant treatment and the ink layer 3 consisting of 30wt.% or more of a styrene resin or a styrene resin copolymer, a colorant and a filler provided on the release layer 4. |
