PURPOSE: To obtain a vacuum siphon for childbirth by installing a soft, liner on a fringe part of a cup where the tissues of the mother and the scalp of the fetus contact. CONSTITUTION: A vacuum siphon for childbirth has a substantially bell-like vacuum cup 10 equipped with a relatively thin fringe dilating outside, a main body thicker than the fringe and the base connected to a hollow stem 12. The vacuum siphon is equipped with an open end for the stem 12 to be linked to the vacuum source and a handle 14 to facilitate the function of the vacuum siphon. The vacuum siphon further has a flexible liner equipped with an outside bead positioned on the fringe dilating outside of the cup 10, to be engaged with the fringe, and the liner is inserted within the cup. At the bottom of the cup the base is installed to be fixed. |
