PURPOSE: To prevent a run-through condition from occurring again by increasing a line pressure upon shifting in accordance with an abnormal shift condition upon previous shifting. CONSTITUTION: A TCU receives various kinds of inputs, and updates (242) a loop timer, and thereafter, it determines a desired speed ratio Rdes and a condition of a solenoid-actuated valve which is required for obtaining the desired speed ratio. The desired speed ratio Rdes can be determined in a normal condition as a previously defined function of a throttle position and an output speed. Next, a desired line pressure LPdes is determined (246), and is then converted into a PWM duty cycle of a pressure motor so as to operate various electric elements including the pressure motor, an ATCC bias valve, and the solenoid- actuated valve (248). An adaptive pressure compensating value is generated in accordance with intervals of measured inertial stages in order to determine whether a run-through condition is detected or not. |
