<p>An electronic fuze package and method includes a left casing (12) comprising a substantially flat left surface having left casing recesses (17, 64, 19, 46, 54, 58, 61) and a right casing (14) comprising a substantially flat right surface having right casing recesses (22, 46, 54, 58, 61). The combination of the left casing (12) and the right casing (14) defines a fuze casing (10) for the mounting of fuze components (24, 20, 16, 40, 36, 60, 48). The fuze package (10) also includes plated-on electrical tracks (36) on the left casing (12), including component connections (30, 52, 44, 34) immediately adjacent to the casing recesses for electrically coupling the fuze components (24, 20, 16, 40, 36, 60, 48) in a fuze circuit. The fuze package (10) can be made of thermoplastic left and right casings (12, 14) which can be epoxy-glued together. Copper can be used for the plated-on electrical tracks (36).</p> |
