PURPOSE: To make a support composed of a steel pipe, etc., to restore to the original state when the support is a little deformed by a weak external force and to be easily exchanged when the support is largely deformed by a strong external force by dividing the support into an underground section and an overground section and, at the same time, connecting the sections to each other by detachably interposing a flexible member having restorability between the sections. CONSTITUTION: A support for road sign, etc., composed of a steel pipe, etc., is divided into an underground pole 11 and an overground pole 12 and the poles 11 and 12 are connected to each other with a bolt 14 by interposing a flexible joint 13 composed of a coil spring 13a, etc., and having restorability between the poles 11 and 12. Therefore, the support 10 can restore to the original state when the support 10 is a little deformed by a vehicle, etc., coming into collision with the support 10. Even when the support 10 is largely deformed, the support 10 can be restored to the original state by only exchanging the joint 13 with new one. Therefore, the maintenance cost of the support 10 can be reduced. |
