PURPOSE:To provide a low-cost deodorizing paper not containing a harmful substance and applicable to every odor. CONSTITUTION:Anionic groups are introduced into rayon fiber and a metal ion such as iron ion is bonded thereto. The treated fiber is then blended with pulp, a binder, etc., and paper is made therefrom. The obtained paper enables deodorizing by the function of the metal ion regardless of alkaline odor or acidic odor. Its production is simply and cheaply achieved. In addition, a harmful substance is not contained and, therefore, the after-dtreatment is ready. |
