PURPOSE:To provide a method which enables a person to easily visually observe temp. of the surface of a table with which this person does job or relaxes at all times and helps the person to recognize an environmental change. CONSTITUTION:This table is constituted by using a top plate formed by laminating a cholesteric liquid crystal of a lyotropic type consisting of a linear homopolysaccharide deriv. on a substrate, at least one side of which is transparent. This liquid crystal exhibits excellent colors continuously changing from purple to indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange and red as temp. rises. |
