PURPOSE:To prevent a plasticized chlorinated resin composition from suffering discoloration caused by the addition of a metal soap thereto and to prevent the plasticizer from dissolving away or evaporating, by incorporating shellac or a component thereof into the composition. CONSTITUTION:At least one member selected from aleuritic acid (a), esters thereof, a soft resin (b) (ester of the acid (a) with jalaric or laccijalaric acid), and shellac is incorporated into a chlorinated resin composition. The acid (a) and the resin (b) each is a component of shellac and can be obtained from shellac by hydrolysis or other treatment. |
