PURPOSE:To obtain the subject derivative providing a self-supporting film showing flexibility, soluble in an organic solvent or capable of being gelatinized, by reacting a reduction type polyaniline with a specific polythiourea compound. CONSTITUTION:First, an aniline oxidation polymer is treated with ammonia to give a soluble aniline polymer, which is treated with an excessive amount of hydrazine to give a reduction type polyaniline having an imino-1,4-phenylene unit and 2,000-500,000 number-average molecular weight. Then the reduction type polyaniline is reacted with a compound of formula I [W1 and W2 are XCN (X is 0, S, etc.), HOOC, etc.; A<3> is direct bond, group of formula II (R is direct bond, 1-30C bifunctional hydrocarbon, etc.), etc.; A<4> is direct bond, halogenated 1-30C hydrocarbon, etc.; RP is polyester polyurethane chain of formula III (RP<1> is 3-120C bifunctional nonaromatic polyester; RP<2> is 2-30C bifunctional hydrocarbon, its halogen-substituted group, etc.;) having 100-100,000 average molecular weight to give the objective derivative comprising a polyaniline of formula IV as a main chain, having a cross-linking structure of formula V (A<1> is R, etc.; A<2> is group of formula II, etc.). |
