PURPOSE:To provide a safe feed for crustacean capable of preventing various infectious diseases including vibriosis in crustacean culture, free from problems of residual chemical agents, also easily improving the survival rate of the crustacean. CONSTITUTION:This anti-disease feed for crustacean is enriched in tyrosine content. The sources for replenishing tyrosine are e.g. extraction from protein hydrolyzates, production by enzymatic techniques or direct sugar fermentation processes; the tyrosine can be effectively used regardless of its degree of purification. Besides, the sources for replenishing tyrosine include tyrosine-rich microbes produced by direct fermentation and tyrosine-rich materials for feed, e.g. silkworm chrysalis tailings, cocoons or their hydrolyzates, cuttlefish guts. |
