<p>PURPOSE:To provide a method for effecting an advanced sewage treatment which can be applied to a treatment plant having a narrow area, wherein large power is not needed. CONSTITUTION:A treatment tank 1 comprises an anaerobic tank 2 and an aerobic tank 3 and mechanical agitating devices 10, 11 are provided in the tanks 2, 3 respectively on the bottom thereof, and pure oxygen is fed to a vane section 14 of the agitating device 11 of the tank 3 from the upper part of an introducing pipe. As a result, the deep treatment tank 1 is used, and hence the tank 1 can be employed even in a narrow treatment plant. And since pure oxygen is supplied, less power is needed than would be required when air is used.</p> |
