PURPOSE:To improve heat conductivity, light shielding property and corrosion resistance by adding specified compds. to AIN powder subjected to oxidation treatment and carrying out firing. CONSTITUTION:A Ca compd., a Y compd. and elemental W or a W compd. are added to AlN powder as starting material by 20-60mol% (expressed in terms of CaO), 5-30mol% (expressed in terms of Y2O3) and 0.01-5wt.% (expressed in terms of WO3), respectively. The AlN powder has been subjected to oxidation treatment so as to regulate the amt. of Al oxide to 35-70mol% (expressed in terms of Al2O3). They are mixed with a binder for compacting and the resulting powdery mixture is compacted and fired. |
