PURPOSE:To always select a suitable beam mode for machining based on the variation of a light converging property or a moving amount of a conversing point of each mode against a variation of a laser beam outputting value. CONSTITUTION:In a laser beam machine having a laser beam oscillator 1 whose beam mode of a laser beam 2 is changable, a machining table 5 and a controller 6 controlling these equipments, the constitution is made so that the controller 6 switches the beam mode of the laser beam oscillator 1 corresponding to the laser beam output during machining with the laser beam. |
