PURPOSE:To obtain a method for forming and cutting a plastic food in which a series of steps such as formation of various continuously extruded cylindrical foods to a desired constricted form and cutting of the food can automatically be treated with a high efficiency and an apparatus therefor. CONSTITUTION:A forming and cutting region formed by combining plural shutter units is suitably extended, contracted, opened or closed by driving the shutter units with a control motor capable of controlling the angle of rotation, etc. Thereby, a cylindrical food extruded into the forming and cutting region is formed and cut to a prescribed shape. Since the cylindrical food can be formed and cut to the prescribed shape simply by inputting the set value, various formed foods can freely, continuously, efficiently and sanitarily be produced by any person. |
