PURPOSE:To provide a self-mobile elevator system in which a track is laid on running paths formed longitudinally and transversely in a building and a plurality of elevator cars are run. wherein safe and reasonable operation control is performed by sensing on real-time basis the operating condition signals about each operation control device and a group operation management device common for a plurality of cars. CONSTITUTION:A self-mobile elevator system includes operation control devices, which are installed in elevator cars and perform speed control of respective cars, and a group operation management device which is connected with a hall display and a hall call operation board common for a plurality of cars and perform the operation controls for cars, The operation control devices are put in network coupling with the group operation management device through conductors laid on the running path. Through the network, the operation control device for each car takes in the information about the speed of another car running ahead and the distance between the two cars. On the basis of these pieces of information, the stop position of the ahead running car is anticipated, and speed control is conducted in correspondence to the equivalent position difference. |
