PURPOSE:To provide an expansion apparatus capable of treating granulation entering a lumen of an expansion apparatus safely without burning the expansion apparatus together even when the granulation is cauterized with a laser. CONSTITUTION:A metal ring 3 is provided at least at one end of a hollow cylindrical apparatus body 2. At least the one end of the apparatus body 2 is made up of a metallic ring 3. A laser beam is applied to remove granulation which is developed at an opening of an end part of the apparatus body 2 and enters into a lumen. This enables the treating of the granulation to be carried out safely without burning the expansion apparatus 1 together even when the granulation is cauterized with the laser beam. |
